Description	Playhouse and Fine Arts Pavilion, Century 21 Exposition (Seattle World's Fair). On the Playhouse: “An adaptable proscenium which can adjust from 36 to 60 ft. has been designed for the stage of the small theater. A shell arrangement with movable reflectors permits the staging of music events which require an intimate setting. Lobby and foyer are carpeted and fully furnished.” (An Architect’s Guidebook to the Seattle World’s Fair. Seattle, Pacific Builder and Engineer, April 1962, p. 27.) On the Fine Arts Pavilion: “The Fine Arts Pavilion is a permanent exhibition hall which will remain as part of the Seattle civic center after the World’s Fair…[It] contains 40-thousand square feet of unobstructed floor space. The vaulted ceiling rises 40 feet and the illumination is exceptionally good.” (Official Guide Book, Seattle World's Fair 1962. Seattle: Acme Publications. p. 89.)
